Morning Coffee

[box]Let me direct you to some excellent reads from all over the web and my favorite post from Desiring Virtue this week. Grab your coffee, snuggle up, and enjoy them with me. Oh, and don’t forget to let me know what you think, I would love to discuss them with you![/box]

I Hate Hell @ Tim Challies.com

This article from Challies is a reflection of some of the personal questions that have arisen as a result of Rob Bell’s new book “Love Wins”. I found it to nail my own emotions right on the head!

The Only Game in Town?… @ Albert Mohler.com

Here are some interesting thoughts on Richard Dawkins latest book “The Greatest Show on Earth”. I love the way Albert Mohler can intelligently and confidently sift through Dawkin’s incredible assertions. By the way, did you know that Dawkins believes that earth was most likely seeded by aliens? I first learned that bit of hilarity on the movie “Expelled”. And he calls creationists  insane, deluded, intellectually perverse, and unintelligent.

  1. Dear Jessalyn,

Thank you so much for linking to the series, Doctrines in the Kitchen. I am so happy to see how many women are longing to dig deeper into the Word of God. It is only when we study the Word of God in depth and hold fast to it that we will be able to build our lives on the rock and stand firm when storms come.

Thank you, and I will sure visit your lovely blog again.

Under His sun and by His grace,
