DV’s Home Management Printables
Today I am going to give you a quick break down of all Desiring Virtue’s Home Management Printables. I began creating these when I simply couldn’t find any planners/organizers/printables that were right for me. I needed something simple and inspirational to get me going and accomplish all those everyday tasks that need to get done. I also wanted to be able to include spiritual goals in my daily planning.
As a result, Desiring Virtue’s Home Management Printables were born. Since publishing them on Scribd many other women have downloaded them and used them in their own home management binders (notice that they are each offset to allow for binder rings) and I pray that they will be a blessing to you as well.
So without further ado, here are the brief summaries of each printable:
The Original Plan of Attack:
Features:
~ Cute Design to get you excited about planning out your week/day
~ Expanded Sunday planner for weekly goal setting and reflection
~ Two days per page to save on ink and paper
~ Four different options so that you can find one that suits you!
Versions:
1. Desiring Virtue’s Plan of Attack- This is my personal plan of attack and has my goals for the day listed so that I need not fill them in every day. Each day there is a different “big goal” (i.e. clean the bathroom, dust, etc…) and my laundry days alternate. This plan also features some devotional goals such as quiet times, family worship, and scripture memory.
2. Customizable Plan of Attack- This version leaves a little more room for your daily to-dos yet keeps the bare bones of things that must get done every day so that things like dishes don’t have to be written over and over again. It does not include any devotional goals so as to allow for your own.
3. Customizable Plan of Attack Including Devotional Goals- This version is the same as version number two, but keeps the devotional goals of version number one.
4. Blank Plan of Attack- A completely blank version with optimal customizability.
You can browse through these versions here:

Running To-do List:
This is a cute To-do list that I keep at the front of my Home Management Binder. Whenever I have the slightest idea of something that needs to get done I jot it down on this list and then as I am planning out my daily tasks I revisit it to fill in any open slots.

If you find these printables to be helpful would you pass them on to a friend or link to them from your Facebook page?
What printables would you find helpful? I am always looking for ideas for my next project!

Why do I have to allow Scribe to access my Facebook account in order to get the ‘free’ downloads? I don’t want them perusing my account, can you not get the downloads otherwise?
The easiest way is deffinitely to sign in with your Facebook account. It is just faster. But, you can also click on the “I don’t have a Facebook account” (even though I assume you do) and create a quick account on Scribd (just enter a user name and password) to do the same thing. You *can print without doing either of these things by simply clicking on the “print” link and then “standard quality” rather than “high quality” (though, the printables will not look as pretty).
Sorry for the inconvenience. Scribd is a great site, however, so I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable signing in with your Facebook profile.
I hope that helps!
I tried signing up but they still want access to my Facebook account. I don’t feel comfortable having them access when I am not on FB nor posting to my account, nor gathering info from myself nor my friends. I think that is what the following lady is talking about too, about having to have a FB account to sign up also. Nice set of printables to share but I’m just not willing to allow the FB access. Thanks so much for all your work.
I just created a fake account for Scribd and it let me download without entering any Facebook info. Lisa was having difficulty because Scribd. had enroaled me in some kind of Beta version that charges people for the content I upload without paying me in return… interesting. Anyway, I can voluntarily opt out of that program and still offer my printables for free. I *think* I fixed it. Let me know if you have any problems. Thank you for your feed back
Great set of printables, however scribd will not let me download them without uploading something to them (which I don’t have). Just thought I would let you know. Enjoying your site!
Hhhmmmmm… that is so strange. I have had others download them just fine, so I don’t know why it is becoming so difficult. I will look into it! Thank you!
Ok, I fixed it. Apparantly Scribd. had enroaled me in some kind of Beta version that charges people for the content I upload without paying me in return… interesting. Anyway, I can voluntarily opt out of that program and still offer my printables for free. I *think* I fixed it. Let me know if you have any problems. Thank you for your feed back
Thank you! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Something simple, looks nice, and you can see at a glance what you’re supposed to be doing. I also know I will enjoy using the Scripture Memory and Reading to help keep me on track with that as well. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I am a person who needs clear direction to stay on task, and am easily distracted. This is such a great way to keep myself on track. Also, I think this will be a wonderful tool for my children to get started on their own time management skills. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate these sheets!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I was resigned to the idea that i would have to make my own ‘plan of attack’ from scratch, and you’ve done it all and made it so super cute! I cannot tell you how grateful I am. This is exactly what I was looking for, and you’ve even added some things that i hadn’t thought to include but should have! May the Lord bless you for your work and for your generosity!!
Jessalyn, I have been trying to download these documents, but it keeps telling me there is an error. I’m not sure what to do. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I figured it out…nevermind! : )
I just wanted to let you know that I tried downloading the blank Plan of Attack and Tuesday and Thursday are missing. I so wanted to use these.
Hello Shelley! I just looked at them here on the site and over at Scribd (the website that hosts my printables) and can’t see where they are missing. Tuesday and Thursday share the page with Monday and Wednesday, and those are showing up as well. I am looking at the document titled Plan of Attack (4 Versions) and specifically looking at the blank version. If you continue having problems, please let me know.
