The Book Club’s March Read: Modest

Looking for a Book Club that will encourage you in your pursuit of holiness and challenge your understanding of the Lord? The Book Club at Desiring Virtue is for women who love the Lord and desire to mine the riches of his Word! Together we read a new theological work every month and discuss what we have gleaned from its pages.

In the month of March we will be reading Modest: Men and Women Clothed in the Gospel by Tim Challies and R.W. Glenn. 

This short book (86 pages of text) promises to be a thoughtful and encouraging (!) treatment of a topic that we as women can greatly benefit from. Challies (one of my favorite bloggers; if you haven’t bookmarked his site you should do so now) and Glenn promise to get at the heart of the matter when it comes to modesty and direct us to the gospel in the process.

**As an added bonus, Challies and Glenn have agreed to answer YOUR questions from the book! On March 15th I will ask for your most pressing questions on the topic of modesty and from the book Modest.
